Some mornings, I catch a glimpse of myself and think, “Who invited these grey roots? Were they lost or just camping out permanently?” My skin? Let’s just say it’s taken a detour from ‘glow’ to ‘what happened here?’ with brown spots popping up like surprise guests and my under-eye skin feeling thinner than a crepe.

For years, I let those little annoyances mess with my head. Bad hair days weren’t just bad hair days, hey felt like the universe’s way of saying “you’re less than.” Grey roots? Emergency! Dull skin? So instead of letting grey roots or skin quirks steal the show, I’m focusing on what I can control, dressing for the body I have, celebrating the woman I am, and rocking the heck out of it with a little humor and a lot of heart.
